Backing up mounted or network drives can easily be abused. The reason for this is not technical, but a business decision. Network (NAS) drives, remotely mounted computers or volumes, or shared volumes do not get backed up. If you are having trouble backing up an exFAT volume with macOS, please contact Backblaze Support for assistance. Please note that exFAT volumes have a history of issues with Mac operating systems.
